HI, WE’RE HOMESTATE,
YOU’RE FRIENDLY NEIGHBOURHOOD POP PUNK BAND
With previous releases under their belts and over a decade performing together, 2019 marks a brand new era for Homestate with fresh and exciting endeavours.
No strangers to performance, the the alternative pop/punk outfit from Perth, Australia are putting their own take on an energetic genre that has long inspired generations. From Blink-182 to Yellowcard and State Champs to Anberlin, frontman and head songwriter Chad Fraser has drawn from more than twenty years of pop punk and alternative music history in order to find the best mode of delivery for his profound and heartfelt lyrics that are bound to arouse all kinds of feelings. Lead guitarist and backup vocalist Tom Fullarton yields an impressive performance, backed up by Elliot Charleston with hair so lush you’ll be envious, as well as literally the chunkiest bass you’ve ever heard, with new member, guitarist and long-time friend Brian Gibson with stomps so heavy you’ll need to hold onto something, all together held by the relentless and intricate beating of Jack Fullarton on the drums. 2019 will see the band embark on a brand new journey with an exciting new sound Australia and the world is sure to love. With multiple releases such as A World of Second Chances, their late single Breathe and Hello Reality (released under their previous name ‘Available At The Counter’), Homestate are wholly focused on their creative goals and are subsequently preparing to give you more than ever before on and off stage. Keep up to date with the band for new releases, shows and shenanigans by following them on all social media platforms. Watch this space. |
